Among the furniture fairs held worldwide, the Milan fair is the most important, because its exhibition hosts the latest trends in furniture and design, as well as in lighting and various household items. Novelties that set the guidelines for the coming years.
Since its beginnings, back in 1961, the evolution of this fair has been always increasing, reaching in this last one 230 thousand meters of surface, with more than 2500 exhibiting companies in addition to the almost 700 young promises of design coexisting with the most recognized personalities of the sector.
The "Salone Internazionale del Mobile de Milano", which this year took place between April 12 and 17, was attended by members of the Madeplax Group, who visited most of the furniture and kitchen exhibitions and stands in order to observe the latest trends in the respective sectors, as well as to strengthen ties with suppliers and designers who are part of the Group's strategic alliance with Italian and global companies.
Glass, marble, leather and marquetry have been important protagonists of the exhibitions, materials that will set trends during these years in terms of furniture. Lighting has also been preponderant in all the exhibitions, the integration of these elements enhanced the decorations and environments throughout the fair.
The kitchens were a separate topic. Not only were new features shown in terms of modules, but also countertops, appliances and accessories, all of them increasingly integrated into the set, offering a diaphanous and clean atmosphere to the whole.
All these firsts, both in design and materials, are currently available to all Madeplax Group customers.
